The customer service is always on point the staff goes above and beyond to help in every way they can even give you great deals on things you truly need... Love all the employees here they need raises!!!
Very helpful and friendly staff. I got money for a necklace, they tested it and made sure to give me money for what it was worth. I will be returning soon one day!
I always love going here even if it's just to look around! They are very friendly and started recognizing my fiancé the second time we were there! (He's more of the jokester and talks more than I do! And they are one of the only places that can throw as many jokes as he offers!
The experience I had at this location was nothing short of OUTSTANDING!! I especially want to point out two amazing employees Thomas and Andrea who went above and beyond in assisting me with securing a very much needed loan as well as pointing me in the right direction to even set up a layaway option!
Selling or trading gear at Pawn King
Pawn King comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
