what a superb experience! i was so upset when my first guitar's volume knob got broken but happy to learn about the repair place 5 min from my house. it is a paradise hidden in a nondescript building. paul was very helpful and quick in diagnosing the problem. he cured my sick guitar in no time.
I had some buzzing issues on my Gibson ES-335. They identified the problem on the spot and fixed this and some other issues that were under warranty. After I picked up the guitar, I noticed that they transformed my guitar into really great instrument.
Paul was wonderful! I know nothing about guitars. Last month, I came across a free acoustic guitar I wanted to repair for my partner. I went to Paul's shop to get an assessment. Paul patiently explained that the guitar is a piece of junk, but was kind enough to restring it nonetheless.
Randomly located, helpful, wood-smelling little repair shop. Even though it's primarily a guitar place, I took my uke in because the action was too high and there was a buzzing/resonating on the A string that was driving me insane.
