I went to Planet Pawn to look for a banjo. Knowing nothing about banjos, the salesman gave me a short lesson about how they differ from a guitar and how to get started. He did warn me that they are very loud, and because of this his wife told him that either he or his banjo had to leave.
This is my favorite pawn shop/gun store, they're easy to deal with and seem to have better prices than people who sell used stuff online anyways. I've bought everything from an electric guitar to a Supressor for a rifle, so it's textbook perfect Kentucky pawn shop to me
