Radovich and Dean Music is a treasure, unassumingly tucked away in the center of Carmel. Many years ago I would walk up after school for sax lessons with Dave. The love of music he kindled inspired my pursuit of a professional career as a jazz saxophonist and a music teacher.
Radovitch & Dean Music offers lessons and rents, repairs, and sells instruments. The shop and the school are around the corner from each other on Route 52 (Gleneida Ave.) and Fair Street respectively. We have two family members taking lessons at Radovitch & Dean.
Great place for affordable guitar setups and repairs. Been coming here for years. They’ve installed pickups for me, neck resets, installed a bone bridge on my Taylor, as well as dozens of basic setups. Drop your guitar off and they will call you in a couple days when it’s ready. Couldn’t be simpler.
Dave at Dean music did great job restoring vintage saxophone. Both mechanically and lacquer polish. Has fair consignment option to restore instrument for sale. Is specialized in woodwinds would recommend.
