Hey! Just wanted to give a shout out to Brandon Toney of Renown Music in North Little Rock. Took my MusicMan Stingray to Brandon to do a set up. My bass came from the factory in virtually unplayable condition.
Absolutely top notch service. They've done a great job on several instruments for me. I would give them 6 stars but 5 is all I can. Update: The two guitar players that I play with and myself continue to use Renown and we have never been disappointed. Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I have this high-end bass ,that because of dead spots I wanted to sale it .I read the reviews regarding the repairs done at this store, so I took my bass there. The reviews are SPOT ON,my bass plays 50% better. Renown saved our marrage,Im back in love. with this bass.I wont sale it now.
I stumbled upon this place and was impressed! It has the old-school, independent guitar shop feel that chain stores and online retailers simply can't replicate. I bought an Ernie Ball Pride guitar strap, some Jazz III pick, and Kirk Hammet Jazz III picks in both zombie green and purple sparkle.
