From the reviews
I began learning the saxophone at age 15 when my brother picked up a Tenor and left me his student Alto Sax. After nearly a decade of playing horns I am glad to say that Robert’s Musical Instruments has always been, and will hopefully always be, my primary music shop.
After being disappointed at guitar center I took a ride up the street to Robert's music and I was very satisfied with the service and they had the amp that I wanted and I was very pleased that the sales lady was very professional and very helpful and answered all my questions.
My old baritone horn needed some attention and my local music store recommended that I take it to Robert's. It was well worth the hour drive! Bart, one of the brass specialists, worked on my horn while I waited. He did a great job and gave me some tips on maintenance.
Terrific store. Very broad selection of instruments and accessories and great prices. They can repair in house. Both drop off and if it’s a small fix they can help same day. The staff were friendly. They don’t upsell at all. The selection in store and online is huge.
Lessons at Robert's Musical Instruments
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Robert's Musical Instruments. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
