Salzman Band Instrument Repair

I brought my son's Gemeinhardt Flute to Mark, he's had it for quite a while but it had belonged to a friend of mine, was over forty years old and in need of repair, cosmetic and functional. He cleaned it up to look new, replaced the pads and whatever else needed done in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price.

I bought a soprano saxophone online and it was in need of extensive repairs when I got it. I called my usual shop and they said it would be a month before they could look at it, and then probably another 2-3 weeks to fix it, depending on what was wrong.

I'm in my first year of music school as a sax player, and I buy a lot of vintage horns. I've been bringing my horns to Mark for around 3 or 4 years now, and he always does great work. He is reasonably priced and I've bought 2 horns from him in the past that both play wonderfully, and didn't cost that much.

I brought in a cornet that I'd bought at an antique store, just hoping to get it cleaned and a few minor issues repaired to get it into playable condition. However, his prices were so reasonable I decided to get the dents knocked out of it as well. It was ready the next day. Very friendly service, as well.
