Mike repaired a Gibson "The Paul" replacing the frets, new nut, new pots, rewired it correctly getting rid of some grounding issues and then set it up so beautifully I barely have to touch it to make the notes ring out. I feel for what is done the price was worth every cent.
Mike is easily the best and most knowledgeable tech/luthier I’ve ever met or gone to for work. Whether it be standard 6 strings, baritones, or even 7 and 8 strings, he always knocks it out of the park and goes above and beyond to make sure your instruments are dialed to your needs.
Mike does beautiful work. His pricing is very reasonable and his lead time is quite quick. Easy owner to deal with. He's done 3 setups for me and also a repair on my Martin. I can't rate him highly enough. Would give Mike 10 Stars if I could.
Mike recently set up two mandolins for me. The work was done very quickly and the price was very fair. Most importantly, the mandolins play beautifully! I would not hesitate to bring any stringed instrument to Mike for set up or repair.
