Have some good music related guitars, basses,amps and just about everything that related to instruments. Some prices are a bit high but they will negotiate on the price. Trade ins are welcome. I found a few items that I bought and happy with them.
I have enrolled to start taking beginning guitar lessons with Richland Academy of the Arts. They recommended Second Music. The man who helped me was professional, friendly and helpful. He listen to me and helped pick out the guitar that was best suited for me. I was able to get a good quality second hand guitar.
Been in bout 6 times, guys names Doug, Doug is super friendly always smiling and cracking jokes. Has the same disdain I have for metronome and literally has let me talk him down a few dollars EVERY single time if I pay cash.
Saw the sign while off US-30 in Mansfield, OH & had to turn around & check it out! And I'm glad I did. Friendly folks and a unique inventory, all modestly priced. Buy, sell, trade or consignment.
Selling or trading gear at Second Hand Music
Second Hand Music comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
