This is a new music store and school that just opened up. Their grand opening is actually October 3rd, 2020. There aren't a lot of good music stores in the area so the competition is slim. Sloan is family owned and they have very competitive prices.
I took violin lessons from Mile Nilan at Sloan for just over three years, and it was a fantastic experience. I played violin in high school and wanted to pick up the instrument again at age 25 after not having played for about 7 years. Mike is a great teacher who was perfect for my situation.
This shop is for music lovers. It’s not like other shops where the employees are disinterested or annoyed; every employee here loves what they are doing, are knowledgeable about the products, love to hear people of all skill levels play, and always seem to just really enjoy themselves.
Bought a PRS electric and an amp. They were very helpful. Asked me some questions and explained the setups on guitars. They grabbed a few guitars and set me up in a private room to try them out. I didn't know a lot about electrics so they explained. Great experience. Highly recommended.
