Hands down best place to take your guitar to in the North Bay area. Paid a few bucks extra to have them "PLECK" my new JS240PS and she plays like a dream. Super nice and helpful staff. I trust them to give a honest assessment on any guitar I bring to them, cheap or expensive.
We had a little breakdown in communication and things took a while longer than estimated, but my Epiphone Les Paul now plays like a guitar many times it's retail value, and looks and sounds phenomenal considering the condition it was in when I brought it in. Pretty impressed with the price all said and done as well.
I would give Geoff and Sonoma County Guitarworks 6 stars for the custom guitar building experience if I could. I took this course and built a 60's stratocaster in a Tahitian coral relicqued finish. You aficionados out there know how daunting building a guitar (even a partscaster) can be from scratch.
