I use a Stonetone 37 block. And I heard it the second I tuned the guitar to pitch without even plugging it in an amp. If you are curious about these blocks you will not be disappointed. It makes electric guitars sound and play better.
Put this sustain block in the guitar in the photo. It is definitely a good upgrade. It adds more sustain, and harmonic content while not coloring your tone. It seems to allow the tone wood to resonate on a higher level. Big fan highly recommend stonetone.

I’ve been using it for a week now, the tones that I’ve been getting from it have made my guitar come alive.
