From the reviews
I just want to leave a quick comment mentioning how impressed I am with this company and the staff. They brought my 2003 Gibson back to life like it was magic. I figured the guitar was in need of major invasive work due to the fret board and frets.
I came in here about a year ago to get my guitar worked on. I was traveling through and had limited time and they worked with me on a quick turn around, also put it through their plek machine and replaced the nut. It was a pretty old Gibson with a few dead spots and they really made it sing.
I took the Electric Guitar Setup class yesterday in Austin, and it was fantastic! I’ve owned and played guitars for a long time, but never really knew what went into a real setup. Confession – I had never adjusted a truss rod before! Danny does a great job with the class.
My guitar, Tenay, was dunked in the Pamlico sound. Oddly, once it dried out the Taylor GTe developed a more mellow sound. Unsurprisingly, the electronics degraded and failed. Also a brace became loose. Straight Frets managed the repairs and Danny did a final setup.
