I brought in my bass to have completely new electronics put in, as well as a professional setup done to it. I was very nervous, as I'd never brought an instrument of mine to someone else, but they were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly enjoyed their job and making music just as I do!
I just received my guitar back from them, and their work, attention to detail, and prices were all phenomenal. They called with any questions or updates they had for me, and my guitar was turned around and back to me much faster than anticipated.
The guys at Strange Guitarworks recently installed a strap button on my D28 and did a superb job (even though not a big job - I don’t have the guts to drill it myself). It’s one of the most badass strap buttons I’ve seen - chrome with padding to not scratch the body - perfect placement!
Brought my beloved bear clawed Taylor 314 L7 to Ben and Aaron for a new bone nut and saddle. Found out that it had a hump in the neck during Ben’s inspection. Ben replaced the nut and saddle with bone, and I even got a little lagniappe, in my honest opinion I think these guys are the best Luthiers in the South.
