What's on the wall
“They did a fantastic job with the setups, especially on my old acoustic.”
“Great selection of instruments, amps and pedals that is regularly updated if you’re always on the hunt for that next piece of gear like I am.”
“Great selection of new, used and vintage guitar gear for all price points, and the service and vibe are top notch.”
“After conversing with the staff, I have since bought two guitars from them and had my other two set up by them.”
“They also fill a void in the live music scene of a listening room to both local and international acts, much in the same way Old Town School of Folk Music does in Chicago.”
Brands they deal
“I bought a Gibson SG Classic from StrumPDX in 2021 and have been a fan of them ever since.”

From the reviews
My 3rd trip to Strum, and they continue to impress. Free shows of local acoustic bands seems to be the theme. Fun for all ages, with a nice selection of ciders and hops. A fab selection of guitars and amps on display round out the experience.
This place is incredible. Amazing staff, great atmosphere, I don't care if you need a guitar or not. Go in here and check it out. It's amazing.
For just a smidge of background, I’ve visited Portland more times than I can count between 2017 and present day, including a year and a half sojourn living there from the start of 2019 until mid-2020.
I first encountered Strum as a performance space. 2 guitarists that I had previously seen separately elsewhere were playing together at Strum on a Sunday afternoon.
