It is an awesome place for a day with the family. On top of the huge music display which is perfect for our family with interests in guitars, flutes, and drums. They have a Cafe with honestly great food, a small arcade just to hangout, and a slide for the kids to wear themselves out.
Traveled all the way from NY to visit. Well worth the trip. Have been ordering online for years, so it was cool to travel to headquarters and take in the history that is Sweetwater. Learned a lot. Seems like a great company to work for, staff across the board was friendly and helpful.
Sweetwater's physical location has become a favorite and meaningful destination for me and my son (also a musician). The campus is really cool. We were lucky enough to receive a tour back before certain areas were closed off, such as the recording studio. Man that was cool!
I just purchased a new release guitar from Epiphone, the Hummingbird tribute. A very inexpensive acoustic guitar. I bought based on brand recognition, I own an Epiphone LP and love it. The Tribute is made in China, I was a little unsure about how low the price was, $229.oo.
