I can’t say enough good things about Talon Guitar Works. Tom does exceptional work at very reasonable prices, and it shows the moment you pick up your guitar. He’s completed two setups for me, and both times the guitars came back playing significantly better—smooth, dialed in, and inspiring to play.
I just had Tom of Talon Guitar do work on my Taylor. He was awesome! Explained everything very thoroughly, does fantastic work, and got the guitar right back to me. The action was way too high but it plays like a dream now!
Tom is a great guy. Old school guy with tons of knowledge. I brought a couple of basses and fixed it first time in. How this works is you call and make an appointment. He deals with one customer at a time. That way he isn't distracted by multiple people visiting and concentrates on your project.
I had a strap button put on by him. Very reasonable and a very nice person. I would recommend him for any guitar work.
