My first experience with a traditional full line music store was exceptional at Tarpley Music. I needed an assessment on a professional grade brass instrument that needed a repair resulting from years of significant use and operational wear.
Came here to purchase a guitar for my boyfriend who is a professional musician. I came in with his wish list and asked a man there to help me pick one that was similar but better quality and gave him my budget, he was happy to show me a few options and pick the best one and then was so kind to hold onto it for me…
I have not been in a while and I really liked how they have reorganized the store. The staff as usual were friendly and helpful. I did not know exactly what I needed but they had no problem showing me a few music books and explaining the music to me.
Tarpley is an absolute gem in Amarillo. The entire team is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They repaired a violin for us with great care and precision, and they consistently provide thoughtful guidance when it comes to instruments and choosing the right accessories.
