Awesome guitar repair experience! I just picked up my Taylor acoustic guitar from Austin--I had him set up the guitar for ease of playability as well as installing new, lighter gauge strings. My expectations have been exceeded beyond what I thought the guitar could be set up!
I recently acquired a 1967 Gibson Southern Jumbo that was in especially clean condition, but it needed a new Nut. Since I had no long term experience with any local Luthiers, I was very interested in finding someone who was experienced and competent to do an excellent job on this Vintage instrument.
Never having a guitar neck reset, I was pretty nervous about it. Talking to Austin eased my mind. I was impressed by his professional manner. In the end my Martin was done on time and exceeded my expectations. It plays great with no signs of being altered. A real craftsman. Thanks.
