From the reviews
I had a really great experience at the Gibson Garage a couple days ago. I was helped by Dylan J. and he got me the Kramer guitar I was interested in, tuned it up, plugged it in and dialed in the amp. I had mentioned that I liked one of the colors that they didn't have in stock at the store.
The Gibson Garage in Nashville is a must-visit spot for guitar enthusiasts, music lovers, and anyone interested in Nashville’s rich music history. The space itself is impressive, combining a modern showroom with the rustic charm that’s iconic to Gibson.
This was a very unique experience. The guitars are beautiful! So many colors and finishes. It is set up as a high-end showroom. The colorful guitar conveyor belt was certainly a highlight. You get the get the feeling that real deal musicians are shopping here.
Beautiful store filled with guitars, accessories and other Gibson branded goods. The coolest part is the guitars hanging on the moving track above your head. Separate quiet room houses the acoustics. Great selection and variety. Definitely a must for any guitar lover visiting Nashville.
Lessons at The Gibson Garage
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at The Gibson Garage. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
