“Love this place - small music shop, has the usual used and mid tier stuff, but the owner is incredibly knowledgeable, always helpful and nice and honest almost to a fault.”
“Ive brought my guitars to him several times now for yearly setups, and got fabulous setups for a fraction of the big shops.”
“I also plan on buying lessons after seeing the parade of people going in smiling and leaving with a THANK You.”
“Although mainly guitars, I also noticed brass instruments, drums and an assortment of music books containing sheet music in the store.”

From the reviews
I was in the shop yesterday. The owner was there and spent quite a bit of time with me. He’s absolutely passionate about his business - and he loves the instruments he curates. I came in late, near closing, but he worked with me to pick out a few things and never once mentioned that I was keeping him.
Bought a guitar from here last week to finish some work locally and with all my equipment out of state. I got to meet Paul that day and not sure if he was the owner or not but he was knowledgeable and not at all clingy. He let me do my thing and that is an understated quality with music shops.
I purchased a 1992 Charvel Bass from these guys off reverb, sight unseen. Vinny was excellent to deal with, very diligent and straight forward with any questions I had. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Setup was great, guitar was even better and price was absolutely unbeatable. Wish I could give 10 stars!
Went to look at a nylon acoustic guitar and ended up buying 2 guitars! If you are serious about buying stop in and you will not be disappointed. Went there to see what they had and found the owner who sells with compassion, care and extreme knowledge.
Lessons at The Guitar Shop
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at The Guitar Shop. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
