From the reviews

Oh my Gosh, what a wonderful experience! Hector was so knowledgeable and patient with me! I got new strings on my guitar and am going to start lessons. You're gotta go here if you play ANYTHING!!

★★★★★ — Jeffrey, Jul 2020

Back in 2011, I visited The Music Store just to look around. They had a Lake Placid Blue Fender Modern Player Marauder electric guitar. I played it and loved it. I worked about a mile from the store, so sometimes I would stop by on my lunch break.

★★★★★ — Jeremy, May 2018

A church member recommended The Music Store to me, and I'll gladly recommend it to others! My cello string (G) snapped on me and within the day of calling, I was able to have them replace all my strings and tune my cello for me. The string set and Labor cost me about $71.

As a first time visitor this was a great experience. They have the biggest selection of drum equipment in the city according to one of the guys I spoke with, I found it almost overwhelming when looking around. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable as well.

Lessons at The Music Store

Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at The Music Store. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
