A planned highlight to my visit to my brother's home in Windsor was to come to Third Man Records for my first time. We went on Sunday, March 2nd. I had an amazing time enjoying the space with my family which included my 15 month old niece.
Had to come here for our first trip to Detroit. Such a cool spot. Could have spent forever just browsing around. Grabbed a few records and a sweater, loved it here! So cool to see the record pressing in the back, watching through the windows, great layout, great product, great staff.
The first day we were in town there was an album release, not to mention a Jack White concert in Detroit that night, so there was a literal line around the block. We didn’t have time to wait in line but I’m so glad that we stuck around the next morning for the store to open before we left town.
I had been to the one in Nashville before and honestly this one is much cooler! All the decorations and everything is so colorful and beautiful and the big stage is awesome. Third man always has such cool clothes and records! A must visit for everyone in Detroit
