From the reviews
Rare and Collectible Albums, Instruments and Memorabilia. I would do this place a disservice by calling it a vintage record store. It is that too, but it's so much more! The owner operator is a guy named Tommy Anderson.
GREAT GUY! Stopped in and talked with Tommy while browsing Jerome stores. He let me and my (ex) wife talk his ear off about our 17 year old son's interest in playing guitar. He also provided us with advice and ideas for our son's interest and improvement. Lots of great stories from his many years of performing.
I arrived in Jerome today and was tuning my guitar when I broke a string. I went to Tommy’s shop, but it had already closed for the day. I decided to call anyway, and to my surprise, Tommy answered. I explained my dilemma, I couldn’t imagine going without playing while I was here.
Tommy Anderson is a great dude, and has a sweet little shop in Jerome. Please visit him and support the shop.
Lessons at Tommy Rocks
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Tommy Rocks. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
