Just had a kind of weird experience where I traveled all the way from JC to Astoria to buy a ukulele here. I wanted a nice one and I had a budget of $200-$300. Guy was very helpful when I asked questions, but after about a minute and a half of looking around, he told me had a lesson to teach in a minute so I couldn't…
I stopped by the Uke Hut in Queens, NY. This store is awesome. The staff knows their stuff and the selection is awesome. They stock everything from the $50 Waterman to the very best Hawaiian K-Brands. They gave me quality time with the instruments as I tried out each of the K's.
I dropped by for a new concert ukulele with a specific price range in mind. The shop owner and staff were helpful showing me the different instruments they have. They provided a lot of background information about each model and its origins which was pretty neat.
Super friendly staff and there are many kinds of ukulele for me to try with. Plus they offer jazz concert once in a while, very enjoyable! Highly recommend this place for ukulele purchase.
