2024 update! Took my tele in for a set up and fretwork. Fantastic as always. Geoff explains everything clearly and answers any and all questions. Not to mention he was super fast, accommodating and worked with my crazy schedule. If you have an instrument with strings, Geoff is the best!
This guitar was gifted to me by Neal Casal upon his request. I had some personal items left to me and had them affixed to the inside of the guitar in a sealed box. Vella Inst. did nothing but quality work. Carl S.
Geoff is a true artist who treated my Takemine classical guitar with more tender loving care than it probably deserved. Things did not look good when I brought it in. The body was cracked, the neck was warped, and the diagnosis was pretty bad. A couple of weeks later, it was like having a brand new guitar again.
Geoff did an amazing job setting up my electric Laguna guitar and Ibanez bass!!! I'm playing now more than ever.. I was getting buzzing on frets, action was off and tuning was getting lost as you go up the frets and as an intermediate player, it was making me not want to play.
