I’m the second generation to trust their bass to Wallace Bass Shop. Bruce is the master Luthier, technician, musician you want to work on your instrument. There is really no other shop in Pa I would use.
Bruce worked on a Bass of mine in the past that could not have been set up any better by anyone!!! Thank God he moved back to PGH!!! He gave me more than a fair trade for a new one!!! Bruce Wallace refurbished a beautiful Shen Hybrid upright bass for our son about 6 months ago. We had an accident where it was damaged and he repaired it quickly at a reasonable price. All the bass musicians we know go the Bruce Wallace for his expertise and great service.
Bruce is very knowledgeable and a nice guy to deal with. I am an adult just getting into the upright bass. He put one together in my price range and then helped when I needed a pickup installed and some adjustments. I would recommend him to anyone!
