From the reviews
Great place! Super cool guys that run the store. Real pros! Extremely knowledgeable and looking to help you in every way get the sound you're looking for. They set me up with a great set of used drums for my son. I spotted an electric guitar there that I had to have. Great prices too.
I spoke with the shop owners over Reverb and offered to drive out to PA from MA to pick up my guitar. The shop owner that was there was very friendly, informative, and kept the shop open late. The shop was roomy and well designed, it was a very comfortable place to play and looks great.
Good selection of odd , quirky, and vintage guitars. Something for everyone, from beginners to pros. Prices are within reason, and collectible stuff is priced accordingly. Although the store caters to all players, for the eclectic player who likes something different, this is the shop for you.
Greatest guitar store I’ve ever been to. Relatively small, but what they lack in size they make up for tenfold in quality and knowledge. The guys here are as friendly and welcoming as they are knowledgeable about music, guitars, equipment, Luthiery, etc.
Lessons at Water Wheel Guitars
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Water Wheel Guitars. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments on hand for exactly this reason.
