From the reviews
Nice little shop and had exactly what I was looking for. I was a little nervous bc the last record store I went to the staff were very better-than-thou and seemed displeased that I was shopping there lol but these folks were friendly and welcoming
Absolutely fabulous record store. The staff is helpful (but won’t bug you if you don’t want to be bugged while browsing). I have found many a physical media here and am NEVER disappointed. Highly recommend.
Best record store I’ve been too. Great selection and pricing, but better yet, everything is so well organized and labeled. So if you’re like me where you don’t always know what records you want until you see them, the organization helps so much. I love this place, will come back often.
One of the best vinyl selections I've seen in years. Its also pristinely and thoughtfully organized. What's more, if they don't have, they'll find it. They located and ordered an album I've been seeking for months. Highly recommend shop!
Selling or trading gear at Wax Galaxy Records
Wax Galaxy Records comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
