As a long time bass player, I’ve had numerous vendors work on numerous basses, but with a recently purchased Fender Precision bass, I was not having the desired results.
Purchased a guitar off the internet. Upon unboxing, I noticed some fret buzz. Found Mike that afternoon and he asked that I bring the guitar over. After a quick once over, Mike noticed frets 15 & 17 were loose. He said he could fix it but would take a couple days as it was over Labor Day weekend.
Absolutely LOVED the work Mike did on my bass guitar!! I’ve been playing on an affordable Squier PJ bass I got 8 years ago, and in all my 8 amateur years of playing bass, I have NEVER played a bass that was as nice as mine had been after he did a setup!
I definitely recommend West Valley Guitar Works, and I will return to him if I need any additional work done for any of my guitars. I bought an American Jazzmaster from Guitar Center that needed a proper setup since the action was very high. West Valley Guitar Works was able to give my guitar the setup it needed.
