For the past 18 months, I have been taking weekly drum lessons from Gary, who is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. I have been bringing all of my guitars to Westbury music for re-stringing and repairs since they opened shop several years ago..I bought a beautiful bass guitar and amp from them a few months ago.
I went in today with my daughter’s violin which was bought elsewhere. It needed to be tuned and I panicked when I messed up one of the strings. I called Westbury Music and they told me to come in no problem. He tuned the violin and was super nice. He didn’t even charge me for his time.
Great place for music lessons! They do have a small store or you could pick up a lot of great accessories and a various selection of instruments. The owner and instructors are so friendly. If your kid is in school and needs stuff for band, definitely come here!
My daughter took piano lessons from several places over the past few years. Her favorite of all the teachers was Pat at Westbury Music. She has a great formula that kept her engaged and not dreading her classes. Every week she looked forward to the lesson.
