We visited WestSide Music Hawaii today looking for a decent ukulele for our granddaughter who has joined an ukulele club at her school in Oregon but is still using a cheap plastic ukulele we bought her years ago.
Great staff, small, friendly, and a local business. This place offers a variety of instruments. Prices are competitive with the island. Hosts musical session on certain days. Locals musicians come here to get their gear!!! Plus the owner is renowned musician!
Was looking for an ukulele for my son's birthday and of all the places I was searching at, couldn't find one. Finally I came acrossthis hole in the wall place. Fought my son really nice cheap ukulele for his birthday and decided to get myself one aswell. Owner is Ron, a nice guy, had his shop for about 14 years.
The owner is very friendly and is very knowledgeable when it comes to anything musical. This is the first store I went to look for a brand new guitar and I left with one I enjoyed a lot. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who wants an instrument or has a question about any instruments.
