Luke knows EVERYTHING there is to know about stringed instruments. He is honest and very fair in pricing. I don't purchase any instrument without talking to Luke first. And he has repaired many instruments for me and my extended family. He is a true craftsman. His shop isn't a typical shopping experience either.
I can not be happier ! Luke has done repairs on my Martin J 40 that I thought I would have to send off to Martin. Impeccable repairs , in a timely manner, and very fair pricing. I cant sing his praises enough. Do not hesitate to send your repairs to Luke. He is the BEST.
Ive used Whittlesticks and Luke for a long long time. He is incredibly good at instrutment modifications and upgrades. I think it helps that hes an actual luthier. Honest, fair prices, incredibly blessed to have him here in little Cedar City.
I first went to Whittlesticks in 2008 when my daughter (then 8 years old) started playing the violin. Since then, we have purchased 3 violins, a cello, viola, and numerous repairs to our guitars and he restored an antique violin for us. I can't say enough good things about Luke and his business.
