I’ve been doing business with this shop for a few years now, and it’s hands down the best pawn shop in Abilene. When it comes to gold and firearms, they consistently offer some of the best deals and loan values in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, fair, and easy to work with. Highly recommended.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Got help right away when I needed to see some things in the counters.
Lars is such a great guy! He was able to help me find what I wanted and also gave me very helpful information. The whole crew is amazing and very helpful. I definitely recommend this location over the other ones!! They shot you straight but try their best to make you leave with a smile. WAY TO GO TEAM!!
Came to wild bills on ambler and Amy was so very helpful with helping me find exactly what I needed to find AND SOME. If you find yourself at this location , I highly recommend asking for Amy , she is the best! Michael gave me a great discount too , will be coming back.
Selling or trading gear at Wild Bill's Pawn #2
Wild Bill's Pawn #2 comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
