Dave killed it. He took my Pops' unplayable 60's Kalamazoo that had been in pieces for 15+ years and turned it into a monster that plays like a dream. He did a refret, neck shim, and complete rewire. Lore is that J. Geils played this guitar at an afterparty from a gig a the Grande Ballroom in Detroit.
My wall hanger fell off the wall and ended up with a good sized hole in my acoustic. Was able to get it to Dave the same day, he did a phenomenal job with not only the hole, but replaced my strings, lowered my action and found another nick and patched that too.
Dave did an amazing job rewiring a Mexican Jaguar to American pro specs for me. The price was right and he even did some fretwork and fixed a ding in the body at no charge because he had a short delay getting it done on time. He was upfront about the delay, it wasn’t a big deal.
Recently had Dave repair a finish chip and install a new toggle switch on my Epiphone Explorer and I am extremely satisfied with how it turned out! Not only does Dave do quality work, he is also timely as well as very responsive and will keep you informed every step of the way. Highly recommend!
