What players say again and again
“I've known Luke since 1984, and he's been honest and knowledgeable since before.”
From the reviews
We've been working with The Wind Works folks for nearly 15 years. We've purchased multiple instruments and had our children's musical instruments serviced. We've experienced nothing but honesty, integrity, and professionalism every time.
I've had Luke and Misty work on my (many) instruments for almost 25 years. They have worked on my sopranino sax, two (2) alto saxophones, two (2) tenor saxophones, three (3) baritone saxophones, a flute, and a piccolo. I have even done some consignment sales with them.
I've known Luke since 1984, and he's been honest and knowledgeable since before. My high school band director was learning instrument repair from him, and that saved me quite a bit of money.
When I was in band in middle school about in 1995, I had rented my instrument's there. Now I'm taking my daughter to get her clarinet there. What a great place and friendly and helpful staff. Very knowledgeable of the variety of instrument's.
Lessons at Wind Works
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Wind Works. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
