John setup two acoustic guitars and a banjo for me. I’m not lying when I say the care and attention to each of the instruments was the best I’ve ever seen, and I’ve had a lot of instrument work done over the years. I cannot recommend John enough. He is first class.
I have a Martin HD28 built in 2022. I contacted Mr. John because I had a luthier look at it to see if it needed a set up. I've always loved the sound of it but it just didn't play like I thought it should.
My daughter needed her guitar repaired so I searched online and found Wolvertone Guitar Works. So glad we did. I was really impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, and honesty of the owner. He fixed her guitar in a reasonable time frame with a fair price.
John did an amazing job on my acoustic J 45. He did a full set up with strings, recrowned & polished the frets, oiled finger board, set neck relief, repaired a crack in the headstock, filled in chips on body and neck, and buffed out entire guitar body.
