Chris, the owner of Woodshed guitar works, is a fantastic person and highly skilled guitar builder and guitar repairman. Chris also sells preowned guitars that he purchases outright. He does whatever work needs to be done to the Guitar so that it is properly set up and ready to be played.
So I needed a cheap first guitar that I could learn one song in two months for my wedding. I waited patiently outside the shop to open after finding all these great reviews on google about it. I went in prepared to be raked over the coals. But instead, I met the kindest professional musician.

Chris at Woodshed Guitar Works did absolutely incredible work on my Black/Cream 1999 Gibson Les Paul Standard. He replaced the pickups, the nut, and did a full refret — and the results are beyond expectations. The craftsmanship is truly supreme. The guitar now plays and sounds 100× better than when it was brand new.
