Fran Jeppesen at Woodwinds are Life was an absolute lifesaver. Just before upcoming solos and obligations with two community bands—including covering first chair—my oboe suddenly developed a serious problem when two tiny corks fell off, causing the D-flat and E-flat to stop sounding!
Thanks to Woodwinds Are Life, I was able to afford to buy a bassoon! I finally had some money to buy a bassoon, but I was shocked at how expensive bassoons are now. I reached out to Fran and asked her if she could help me find a used bassoon that would be within my budget.
Fran was very knowledgeable and friendly. I took my daughter’s flute to get some repairs and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience! She meticulously went through the entire flute, found multiple issues and fixed them all within a few hours.
