All-Star Pawn is a well kept, clean, organized pawn shop. The staff are eager to help, or answer any question. The selection of items for sale is a little thin, but that's ok, and to be expected. Prices seemed consistent with other shops. I didn't pawn anything, so I can't speak to that end of the business.
Wonderful customer service. The staff is friendly and caring. The owner is actually there most of the time and is very hands on. Their offers are fair if you are pawning an item and the merchandise to buy is actually very well priced, sometimes even underpriced!

I stopped by a couple of years ago to check out their gun selection. They had good prices, and great customer service. I ended up buying that day. And have made several purchases since then. The store is always clean, and the staff is attentive. Which is not usually the case in pawn shops.
Selling or trading gear at All-Star Pawn
All-Star Pawn comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
