Go to Artisan Luthiers for your guitar needs! I had the pleasure to work with Jim, and he was very punctual, responsive, and most importantly, he knows his trade inside-and-out. I emailed Jim for a quote on a guitar setup and a potential nut replacement for my Telecaster.
Update march 2025: Jim offered fantastic service and worked on my semi-hollow body with an insanely quick turnaround (less than a day). He met with me on a saturday morning so I could have it for a show just an hour later. I was really surprised and felt like he truly cared!
Great experience with Artisan! They repaired a family heirloom guitar from a deceased loved one that had cleanly broken at the neck. Didn't think it could be fixed and not only is it repaired and looks beautiful but it's fully playable and came to us in tune. Amazing!
Very pleased with Jim’s work on my 1973 Rickenbacker bass. I couldn’t find a guitar luthier to do the hard work on my old bass and Jim just did an outstanding job. I will continue bring my instruments here for repairs or setup.
