I am updating my Auburn Guitar review from a year ago to once again praise Mike for running a First Class business. He just completed an upgrade and repairs to an Epiphone SG I recently purchased. Mike's work is phenomenal and my guitars and basses always come home performing better than when they were new.
I bought an old 60s Teisco and when I brought it back home to test it, nothing worked and half of the tuners were broken. There was only a grounding sound coming from the electronics. Mike was able to fix everything with the electronics and find some tuners for me and now the guitar sounds and plays perfect!
As a gigging musician, it’s important that my guitars play and sound their best - that’s why Mike works on all my guitars. From setups, pickup and harness installations, fret dressings, etc., Mike does quality work that I trust.
Mike took my Dad's 1930's Regal resonator dobro guitar in pieces, and transformed it into an excellent looking and playing instrument. He made and installed a complete new fretboard, tail piece, and tuners. He also reconstructed the inside of the body so that everything fit and functioned.
