I have had my August since March of '23, It has been the the absolute best sounding Dreadnought that I have ever played! I am very fortunate to have many Martins, Taylors, Gibsons, a Santa Cruz and a Collings in my circle that I jam with and the August is every bit as good as anything comparable.

Sometimes it's nice to treat yourself to awesome gear even if it's a hobby. No, especially if it's a hobby. As many guitarists know, the ideal number of guitars one should own is always N+1, where "N" is the current number of guitars in one's possession.

I have had two custom guitars built by Dave of August Guitars. Both are outstanding instruments in sound and appearance! He was a joy to work with. We were able to, with his help, make our choices of woods, styles, etc and kept us informed online and in person during the process and answered all our questions.
