I've known Dean for now 20 years, initially as a trumpet instructor/repair specialist and later as a friend and ping pong partner. He's one of the most knowledgeable, sincere and fair persons I have interacted with for his services.

Just have to sing the praises of B Sharp Instrument Repair in Poquoson! We found him through the band director in one of the schools in Williamsburg when my daughter's clarinet needed a minor repair. We were pleased with the quality of work for a very reasonable price.

Dean did a fantastic job repairing my flute!! I live out of town and he was willing for me to bring my flute by his shop and watch while he fixed it!! He was extremely thorough… he checked the pads… oiled it… screwed down some keys to make them close better… and took out several dents!

Awesome service. A key snapped off my daughter's clarinet (OK, it's actually my ancient clarinet). I figured I was toast: Manufacturer long out of business, tricky repair, no parts available. Dean fixed it in a little more than a day (and figured out the root cause - an earlier, lousy repair).
