Staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. My daughter has recently started on the violin. Something I have no clue about. But we have been able to get it strung and tuned here without any hassle. They also have some pretty gorgeous houseplants.
Baker Music Shop is Columbus's hometown shop for music! It has been here for many years and is such a great and helpful small local business. I got my instrument here for middle school and I'm now almost 30! I have used them ever since for any musical needs! Wonderful staff and very helpful!
I've gone here for all 4 of my children's instruments; 2 violins, a guitar, a sax, and a flute. Mr. Baker is amazing. His instruments are of impeccable quality for a reasonable price and repairs are fast. Everything you could need for music class under one roof.
Even though this music store has relocated over the years, it has been around for generations. They are a family business and run with that in mind. They are extremely knowledgeable and competent with all the work that they do. I have had repairs done by them to look like they are factor new.
