From the reviews
They have a great selection and more importantly the people there are great and patient. I think I spent about 4-6 hours in there and they were just the right amount of suggesting guitars I might like while also giving me space to see how I like it without being overbearing.
Everything Musical has great customer service and friendly staff. Being a gigging saxophonist, this store has supplied and serviced any need I've come to them with, especially my repair man Joe. Gary and everyone one else at Everything Musical handles situations professionally and honestly.
All I can say is WOW. This place has amazing customer service. I had to get new strings on my acoustic guitar and they even polished it and cleaned every part of it. I recommend this place for all of the musical needs of everyone. They made me feel like family and I loved every second of my time there.
I honestly can't say enough good things about Everything Musical. I drive an hour and a half just to get here, and they make the trip worth it every single time because their customer service is without equal. This isn't just a place to buy gear; it feels like the community living room for musicians in Columbus.
Lessons at Everything Musical
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Everything Musical. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
