I purchased a used piccolo trumpet - which I’m very pleased with. The shop let me try the horn, and keep it on reserve as I researched my purchase and returned with my own mouthpiece to try it again. The person who sold me the horn was very knowledgeable and helpful.
I am a relatively regular customer here for maintenence and upkeep on my instrument, even taking lessons from staff who were there many years ago. If you need something brass, for brass, about brass, they have it, or will work with you to get it. They even do some woodwind repairs on occasion.
These folks are champs. Brought in a functioning historical replica Tintignac style carnyx and they were able to modify the failing mouthpiece to replace it with a tuba receiver and mouthpiece along with some aesthetic repair work. It looks and sounds better than it did when I first got it.
They had a good variety of instruments to try out. Knowledgeable staff. 1 week return policy if not happy. My son ended up buying a beautiful new trombone for marching band. Sounds great!
