What's on the wall
“They have this great guitar tech, Sam, who fixed my electric sitar hollow body with reinforcements inside, and also strung up an electric silent oud for me, from 9 strings to 12.”
“However, I came in for a simple bass setup and the employee I talked everything through with said "Looks like you could use your frets cleaned as well.”
“It's rare to find such a blend of skill, passion, and genuine customer care.”

From the reviews
Exceptional Craftsmanship & Service I brought my electric guitar in for repairs, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The team treated my instrument with such care, explaining every step of the process and even offering tips for long-term maintenance.
I've been to a lot of repair shops over the years and have never been this delighted with a repair. I highly (strongly, without reservation) recommend Bandwagon for repairs and woodwind needs. Here's my experience. Bandwagon overhauled a Selmer Mark VI tenor that I've owned for 40 years.
Bandwagon is among the best of the best. I've worked with them on restoring a 100 year old Conn curved soprano sax, repairs on my baritone sax and previous tenor sax and they did a fantastic job. Recently I bought the Yamaha Custom 82Z pro tenor sax. That's a big investment.
Bandwagon has done excellent work for my tenor and baritone saxophone and each time I go there I am always greeted by a bunch of awesome, friendly, smiling faces. Every time I have had work done for my saxophones they have left playing like they were brand new.
Selling or trading gear at Bandwagon Music & Repair
Bandwagon Music & Repair comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
Lessons at Bandwagon Music & Repair
Reviews and the store's own info mention lessons at Bandwagon Music & Repair. If you're signing up a beginner (or restarting yourself), a quick call ahead answers the three things that matter: which instruments they teach, whether the schedule has openings at the time you actually need, and what a first lesson costs. There's no wrong first guitar — a good teacher will happily work with whatever you walk in with, and a shop that teaches usually keeps affordable starter instruments and rentals on hand for exactly this reason.
