From the reviews
This shop should be your GO-TO for any items you need to sell. The staff were amazing! The shop is impeccable. I cannot find enough words for how great my transaction was from start to finish. Please take this note seriously as I rarely do reviews unless they are intentional.
Very pleasant staff. Did business with them for a private party sale, prices were very reasonable, FFL fees were cheap, and the lady who processed our transaction was very friendly, personal, and pleasant. Overall good people, and professional, had us in and out quick. A+
I love this pawn shop I have bought some things here and never had a problem always enjoyed what I got. Today I came in and wanted to trade a ring that I bought for a pistol and they were able to do that for me. Good work thank you so much!
SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF. JASMINE IS SUPER HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THEY'RE CUSTOMER SERVICES AND PRICES ARE AMAZING!!! IF YOU GET A CHANCE ALSO CHECK OUT THEIR OTHER SHOP IN SALEM STATE STREET PAWN!!! THE ONWERS ARE ALSO SUPER KIND.
Selling or trading gear at Barkley's Jewelry & Pawn, LLC
Barkley's Jewelry & Pawn, LLC comes up for buying and trading used gear — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the trip go better. First, bring the whole package: the case or gig bag, the original tremolo arm or bridge parts, the paperwork if you have it — a complete rig is worth real money more than a bare instrument, and it saves the back-and-forth of "can you bring the case in?" Second, know that trade credit almost always beats the cash offer, usually by a healthy margin — if you're upgrading anyway, price your old gear as a trade against the new one before you take cash. Either way, expect the offer to be below what the gear sells for on the wall; the gap is the store's margin for setup, warranty, and sitting on it until the right buyer walks in.
