I’ve always driven past this place and only just now decided to go in. Bought some guitar strings and a peg winder. Prices are ever so slightly higher than Guitar Center’s would be, but I’m more than glad to pay their prices as long as I’m supporting local businesses.
Me and my buddy went in to get some advice, and he quickly restrung a ukulele and a guitar as well as polished it and tightened the tuning pegs! All for a great deal! Freddie is a legend amongst music shop owners, incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and insightful!
Great work in a timely fashion, as well as being inexpensive. My Bass Flute had a broken bar spring and was not regulating well. I had bought a used Bass Flute from a shop in CA on line. I had then dropped it. I then took it to Blue Note B's Horn Shop Music Store. It was repaired to much better condition than it was before it was dropped. ALL of the notes now come in with ease and with tonal clarity.
